# Shitty Cities

The first and shittiest city building NFT Collection on the Algorand blockchain.

Each Shitty City is a customizable ARC19 Algorand NFT which means they can be updated using the Shitty City Builder!

There are 500 total cities. There will never be any more than this.

Each Shitty City can contain up to 9 [Shitty City Blocks](/collections/shitty-city-blocks). Rarity rankings of the collection will change as holders update their cities with different blocks.

Using the City Builder, the Shitty City Blocks you've collected can be added to your Shitty City NFT!

### City Rating

The internal City Rating of your Shitty City is based on it's Rarity Score as calculated on the site.

### Max Population

Based on how many Shitty City Blocks are in your Shitty City as well as your city's City Rating.

* 1-2 Blocks = 2 kitties
* 3-5 Blocks = 5 kitties&#x20;
* 6-8 Blocks = 10 kitties
* 9 Blocks = 20 kitties

**City Rating multiplier:** You earn a bonus multiplier based on your City Rating.

### Living in the cities

Shitty Kitties can live in each Shitty City. Each kitty living in a city will generate treats for the city every 24 hours based on the Rarity, Level of the kitty, and the city's City Rating.

* Base Amount: 2 treats per day
* Level 1-2: 2 treats
* Level 3-4: 4 Treats
* Level 5-6: 6 Treats
* Level 7-8: 8 Treats
* Rank 1-10 Kitties: 10 Treats
* Rank 11-100 Kitties - 6 Treats
* Legendary Fourth Litter Kitties - 15

**City Rating multiplier:** You earn a bonus multiplier based on your City Rating.

Shitty City Blocks are the literal building blocks of your [Shitty Cities](/collections/shitty-cities). Each Shitty City Block is a multi-mint NFT with a Rarity.

# Shitty Auctions

Shitty Auctions allow you to auction your NFTs for Shitty Treats

### How do Shitty Auctions work?

There are 3 channels in our Discord, 🏛-shitty-auctions-1 and 🏛-shitty-auctions-2 or 🏛-shitty-auctions-3. These channels are where you can create and bid on Shitty Auctions.

### How do I create an auction?

There are 3 Discord commands that you can use for Shitty Auctions.

`/createauction` allows you to create a Shitty Auction in the channel. You must specify an Asset ID. You can also specify a starting price, min bid difference and a duration (in hours with a min of 12 and max of 48 hours, defaults to 12 hours).

`/viewauction` allows you to display the active Shitty Auction in the channel. This is so you can always see the latest details and time remaining.

`/bid` allows you to bid on the active Shitty Auction in the channel. You must provide the amount you want to bid and it must be higher than the max bid + min bid difference

### How long does each auction last?

Each auction defaults to 12 hours. You can update this if you'd like to make to longer/shorter. After the 12 hours, when someone uses a command in the channel, the active auction will immediately end and post the winner/highest bid in the channel.

### What happens when I win an auction?

After each auction, the creator of the auction and the highest bidder will need to get together and trade their NFT for Shitty Treats. You can use /tip to send treats if you'd like to. A new auction can then be created.

### Shitty Casino Jackpot

The Shitty Casino Jackpot now increments behind the scenes whenever you play a casino game. You can check the current total using `/jackpot`.

The highest the jackpot total can be is `2,500` Shitty Treats.

#### What are the odds of winning?

Every time you play a Shitty Casino game, there is a `0.1%` chance that you'll win the Shitty Casino Jackpot. You'll be paid out whatever the current total is at the time of winning.

#### How much does it increment each time?

The total is incremented by `round(betAmount / 20)` each time a game is played.

#### What's special for Fat Cats?

If a Fat Cat (owns 10+ Shitty Kitties) or above wins the Jackpot, they are paid out `1.5x` the Jackpot total! 🤑&#x20;

### Shitty Litter

You can use the `/dig` command to try and dig up some Shitty Treats! \
\
Digging in the Shitty Litter costs 4 Shitty Treats. You pick 3 unique numbers 1-6. If you don't get a 💩, you get a random number of Shitty Treats! The values range from 4 treats all the way to 100 treats.

### Shitty Flip

Type `/flip` to start this game. For this game you can bid any number of Shitty Treats up to 500 on a coin flip. If you win, you receive double your bet!

Type `/diceroll` to start this game. You can bet up to 500 treats on a dice roll! Shitty Bot will roll 2d6 and if the total is 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12, you win! This game pays out 3 to 2.

# Shitty Cat Fights

Shitty Games are various Discord games you can play to try and win Shitty Treats.

We have several games in the Shitty Kitties Discord that allow you to bet [Shitty Treats](/welcome/shitty-treats) to try and win more treats! Below are the games we currently have. We're always looking for suggestions on more to add!

### Shitty Cat Fights

Shitty Cat Fights is a multiplayer game that allows you to fight other kitties for Shitty Treats!&#x20;

Clicking the "Join" button will check your wallet for kitties and present a select menu to select the kitty you'd like to fight with

Once enough kitties have joined, the fight will start and kitties will duke it out. The kitties power is based on their Rank, current level, and some randomness. The rarer the kitty and the higher its level will help you win more fights but there's always a chance for upsets!

The winner will receive the entire pot of Shitty Treats as well as gain XP for their kitty. Each win grants 5 XP for the kitty. Check out the [Levels](/website-utilities/shitty-kitty-levels) docs for more info.

After a fight, your kitty must rest for 3-4 hours.&#x20;

### Rare Shitty Kitties

The rarest Shitty Kitty in your wallet fights for you and has a chance to boost your attack!

For example, a Shitty Kitty whose ranking is between 1-100 has a higher chance to get a boosted attack each round than a Shitty Kitty whose ranking is between 400-500.&#x20;

The lower ranking Shitty Kitty could definitely still beat the higher ranking kitty but the odds are lower depending on the difference.

# Shitty Hype

We've made it easier for y'all to score those sweet, sweet $TREATS for #ShittyHype posts.

You can earn **100+** [Shitty Treats](/welcome/shitty-treats) **once per day** using the `/hype <post>` command in Discord.

### How it works

1. Create a post on X/Twitter with the hashtag #ShittyHype, tag @ShittyKitties\_, and include an image or meme related to Shitty Kitties
2. In Discord, use the `/hype` command and paste a link to your post in the field.
3. You'll receive **100** [Shitty Treats](/welcome/shitty-treats) into your Shitty Vault. You can withdraw these treats to your Algorand wallet by going to the Shitty Kitties website, connecting your wallet, and clicking "Withdraw" in the header.

### How many Shitty Treats do I get?

The number of Shitty Treats you receive from Shitty Tricks corresponds to how many Shitty Kitties and Shitty Accessories you have in your wallet at the time you run the command. Below are the current values.

**Kitty bonuses**

* 0-4 kitties gets you 2-4 treats
* 5-9 kitties gets you  3-5 treats
* 10-19 kitties gets you 4-6 treats
* 20-49 kitties gets you 5-7 treats
* 50-99 kitties gets you 8-10 treats
* 100+ kitties gets you 11-13 treats

# Block Swap

Swap a Shitty City Block with another using Shitty Treats.

The Block Swap allows you to do two things:

1. You can donate one of your blocks to the swap wallet in exchange for [Shitty Treats](/welcome/shitty-treats)
2. You can swap one of your blocks for any block in the swap wallet for a cost of Shitty Treats

With this new utility, we're adding a kind of deflationary aspect to Shitty City Blocks. As users donate blocks to the swap wallet, they are essentially removed from circulation. Of course you can swap one of your blocks for a block in the swap wallet but because of the donations, there will always be some blocks in the swap wallet! Dope.

## Donating a block

To donate a block, just select one of your blocks and click the Donate button. You'll then sign a transaction group sending the block to the swap wallet and receiving your treats.

## Swapping a block

To swap a block for a block from the swap wallet, select one of your blocks and one of the blocks from the swap wallet and then click the Swap button.

We're going to be doing collabs with some amazing Algorand NFT collections to bring you Shitty City Collab Blocks! An example of a Shitty City Collab Block is the **Mostly Dreamverse** block.

### **What happens when I add a Collab Block to my city?**&#x20;

When you add a Collab Block to one of your Shitty City, you will be able to move-in your collab assets to the city to earn a small amount of treats!&#x20;

Adding the Mostly Block to your city, for example, will allow your M.N.G.O, Mostly Frens, and Yieldlings to join your Shitty Kitties by moving in!&#x20;

Get ready y'all! Everyone is getting some new neighbors!

### So how do I get one?

This is where **Collab Block Staking** comes in.

1. A new Collab Block will be announced and staking will open for it. You'll have 3 days to stake 1 Shitty City, 1 Shitty Kitty, and 1 of the collab assets (MNGO/Mostly Frens in this case). If you miss the window to stake, you are out of luck.
2. You'll then stake your three NFTs for 5 days. If any of the 3 NFTs leave your wallet, your staking entry will be disqualified.
3. After the staking period ends, **EVERY** wallet that completed the staking will be allowed to claim the Collab Block!

### **How many of each Collab Block will there be?**&#x20;

This is solely dependent on the amount of wallets that fully complete the **Collab Block Staking** for a particular Collab Block with a bit of rounding. Everyone that completes staking will be allowed to claim the Collab Block. So if 53 wallets complete a staking period, then I will mint 60 Collab Blocks, keeping some for giveaways by us and the collaborating collection.

### **Multiple wallets are not allowed**&#x20;

These Collab Blocks are meant to be one per holder. There are checks in the Collab Block Staking system that will monitor and alert me if the system detects a user trying to use multiple wallets to get multiple Collab Blocks.&#x20;

# Shitty Adventures

Go on adventures to earn Shitty Kitty Treats and other rewards.

You can think of Shitty Adventures as short staking periods. At the end of the adventure, you will be able to claim a reward in the form of [Shitty Treasure Boxes](/website-utilities/shitty-treasure-boxes).

### What are the requirements?

Each Shitty Adventure requires a certain amount of Shitty Kitties to participate. These requirements could be specific traits, the number of kitties in the adventure, and the level of the kitty.

### Why does my kitty go on cooldown after an adventure?

They get tired! Shitty Kitties go on a cooldown after completing an adventure. This cooldown is typically 3 days. During this time, you'll be unable to start any new adventures with that kitty.&#x20;

You can use a [Shitty Energy Drink](https://explorer.perawallet.app/asset/2217748679/) to remove the cooldown from a kitty at any time.

To use a Shitty Energy Drink, select a kitty for an adventure and you'll see a new button in the dropdown when you're kitty is on a cooldown. Click the button, sign the transaction, and your kitty will be good to go for the next adventure!

### What determines the level of a Shitty Kitty?

### Can I send multiple parties on the same adventure?

No. Only one party can be sent to each unique Shitty Adventure at a time. Once the adventure is over and you've claimed your reward, you can send another party on that adventure.

### What if I sell a Shitty Kitty that's on an adventure?

If your Shitty Kitty is involved in a transaction while on an adventure, the adventure will immediately be canceled and no rewards will be distributed.

### What do I get for completing an adventure?

You will receive a certain amount of [Shitty Treasure Boxes](/discord-utilities/shitty-tricks). Check out the page to learn more.

### Why is Pera Wallet disabled for Shitty Flips?

There is an issue with Pera Wallet that sometimes occurs where users will transfer Shitty Treats, the connection will error out, and then the Shitty Treats are lost. Pera Wallet has been disabled until this bug is fixed.

3. **Start working** - Click "Start Job" and your kitties get to work. You can have up to 6 active jobs at once.

Shitty Snapshot allows anyone to see the amount of holder's a collection has and how many NFTs each holder has as well.

# Shitty City Upgrades

Upgrades bring a whole new level of customization to your Shitty Cities.

There are currently 10 different Shitty City Upgrades. Each Upgrade costs [$TREATS](https://x.com/search?q=%24TREATS\&src=cashtag_click) and [$ALGO](https://x.com/search?q=%24ALGO\&src=cashtag_click) and has certain requirements.&#x20;

The Basic Upgrade requires 26 Shitizens (Shitty Kitties or Collab [#AlgorandNFTs](https://x.com/hashtag/AlgorandNFTs?src=hashtag_click)) and 9 Shitty City Blocks in the city.

The other 9 Shitty City Upgrades are all themed and require specific Shitty Kitty traits and Shitty City Blocks to Upgrade.

For example, the Arctic Upgrade requires a winter/snow-themed Shitty City Block and a Shitty Kitty with mittens, a beanie, etc.&#x20;

# Trait Swapper

Swap traits between two of your Fourth Litter Shitty Kitties.

The Trait Swapper allows you to select two Fourth Litter kitties and swap traits between them.&#x20;

After you select two of your Fourth Litter Shitty Kitties, you'll be able to select up to 4 traits to swap between the two Shitty Kitties.

### Special Traits cannot be swapped

Any Fourth Litter kitty with a Special trait cannot be swapped. This includes Legendary, Encounter, and Slimed traits.

### Other traits that cannot be swapped

If your Fourth Litter kitty contains any of the below traits, they cannot be swapped. These traits all have special layering requirements that require more dev time. There will be a future update that will allow these traits to be swappable.&#x20;

### Traits that require other traits to be swapped

Certain Fourth Litter traits in the collection require other traits for layering purposes. You'll see an error like this if you encounter a required combination. Once you swap the required traits, the error will go away. You can also reset back to the beginning of the swap.

### 🚨 Traits with multiple options require special attention

Some Fourth Litter traits have more than 1 option but the same metadata value. When swapping kitties with these traits, there is a chance that you will lose your original theme.
