# Shitty City Upgrades

There are currently 10 different Shitty City Upgrades. Each Upgrade costs [$TREATS](https://x.com/search?q=%24TREATS\&src=cashtag_click) and [$ALGO](https://x.com/search?q=%24ALGO\&src=cashtag_click) and has certain requirements.

The Basic Upgrade requires 26 Shitizens (Shitty Kitties or Collab [#AlgorandNFTs](https://x.com/hashtag/AlgorandNFTs?src=hashtag_click)) and 9 Shitty City Blocks in the city.

The other 9 Shitty City Upgrades are all themed and require specific Shitty Kitty traits and Shitty City Blocks to Upgrade.

For example, the Arctic Upgrade requires a winter/snow-themed Shitty City Block and a Shitty Kitty with mittens, a beanie, etc.

You can Upgrade your Shitty City as many times as you'd like to as long as you pay the costs and meet the requirements.
